The Rest of the Camping Trip
Well the storm was over in a little over an hour and thanks to our son in law the campfire was rebuilt with wood saved under the old tarp. The fire had to be moved to their campsite as our fire pit was holding water. At the end of the storm was the most beautiful rainbow that then turned into a double rainbow. If you’ve never seen one it’s the most beautiful thing. The guys went fishing later in the evening and took out the canoe. No fish were caught on this trip. I slept pretty well between the dry sleeping bags and we cooked toast made from french bread and scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast over the campfire the next morning. More fishing and swimming and then we took our time loading everything up and heading back home. Even though we were skunked by the fishing I think a great time was had by all.
