The Rest of the Camping Trip
Well the storm was over in a little over an hour and thanks to our son in law the campfire was rebuilt with wood saved under the old tarp. The fire had to be moved to their campsite as our fire pit was holding water. At the end of the storm was the most beautiful rainbow that then turned into a double rainbow. If you’ve never seen one it’s the most beautiful thing. The guys went fishing later in the evening and took out the canoe. No fish were caught on this trip. I slept pretty well between the dry sleeping bags and we cooked toast made from french bread and scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast over the campfire the next morning. More fishing and swimming and then we took our time loading everything up and heading back home. Even though we were skunked by the fishing I think a great time was had by all.

Ready to dust off the Sewing Machine?
Time is of the essence. One of the most satisfying projects I have ever gotten into is when my girls were little and I would find the perfect pattern and then hunt for the perfect fabric to make a dress or outfit for them to wear. The feeling I got from seeing the finished product that I had made myself was a blessing in itself. Here’s a place to find your fabric. Do You want to be a Woodworker but need plans?
Have to reminisce to the past a few moments and think of my Grandpa Veach. He was a woodworker and made many things for all the grand-kids in his basement. He loved working with wood and made such things as a spinning wheel for my Grandma and he made these fabulous scroll wall clocks for all the grandchildren. I will treasure mine forever. He also made baby doll cribs, knife handles and telephone stands, too many things to mention them all. When I was a girl I loved to go into the basement and play in the pile of sawdust under grandpa’s saw. Now if this sounds like something that you would like to get into or are already like working with wood but need the plans to work with I’ve found just what you need. There are over 14,000 Woodworking Plans with step-by-step instructions, photos and diagrams to make every project easy. Wouldn’t you like to make something special that will bring back memories of you even after you’re gone. It was Grandpa’s worst day when the Dr. told him he could no longer work around the sawdust because of emphysema, he had always smoked a pipe and the Dr. told him he had to quit that also. I was older and asked Grandpa if it was going to bother him to give up his pipe and he said “I smoked that pipe for 35 years and decided it was beginning to become a habit”. He put his pipes away, stopped working with the wood and lived quite a long time after.

Spring is here! | DEO Global
Here we are in the Ozarks and it’s the first day of spring. We have snow on the ground. It started out sleeting and then turned to these great big beautiful snowflakes. Weatherman said it wouldn’t be enough to cover the ground because it would melt as soon as it hit. He was wrong again. The ground, trees, vehicles are all covered.
We have been experimenting selling on the internet. We started in E-Bay two weeks ago and have sold $194.00 in three items that we’ve sold. Not that we haven’t invested a substantial amount of capital in opening our DEO Global website. At this point we’re in the red but are utilizing all of our resources that we have been given. We have a Business Coach Glenn Davis and Mr. Carouthers is our Teacher/Computer Guru Coach. We are having weekly classes with him and he has helped so much since we’ve started.
